Castrol Cyltech 40SX is a Marine diesel engine cylinder lubricant developed with a bespoke detergency system for operation at the higher temperatures and pressures in modern engines, which operate on fuels with Sulphur content of 0.0 - 1.5 %, and LNG.
Cyltech 70F
Cyltech 70F is a high performance cylinder oil of SAE 50 viscosity engineered for cylinder lubrication of marine crosshead 2-stroke engines burning residual fuels. It has sufficient alkalinity to combat current levels of fuel sulphur content. In addition to its balanced blend of acid-neutralising and detergent additives, it incorporates an ashless dispersant which assists in maintaining cleanliness of cylinder ports, piston ring zones and under piston spaces. Formulated against oil breakdown at high temperatures, Cyltech 70F is suitable for a wide range of conditions and engine designs.
MHP Range
Castrol MHP Range is a high performance lubricant formulated using high quality base oils and additives. Available in both SAE 30 and 40 viscosity grades it is specifically developed for use in modern highly rated marine and power generation four-stroke engines. MHP’s high load carrying capabilities and excellent gear performance means it can be used as a common oil for engine and transmission systems. MHP exceeds the specifications of API CF and is approved by major marine engine makers worldwide.
HLX Range
Castrol HLX is a Super High-Performance Diesel (SHPD) lubricant, specially formulated to meet the latest performance requirements of marine monograde lubricant specifications. This allows extended drain periods to effectively compete with performance normally associated with synthetic oils. HLX is available in both SAE 30 and 40 viscosity grades. HLX uses premium additive technology blended in high quality, high viscosity index base oils. It provides high detergency and excellent thermal and oxidative stability required to lubricate today's most severe diesel engine applications.
TLX Range
Castrol TLX range offers maximum operation between service intervals and excels in demanding applications. It provides excellent engine cleanliness and exceeds OEM limits for deposits.
